The joining of state and local education agencies, universities, and technical assistance centers to help forge strong sustainable partnerships to increase communication and collaboration that is data driven was the topic of this presentation. Tools that increase stakeholder engagement in data driven strategic planning were be explored as an alternative to the use of focus groups that depend on the skill of a facilitator as a way to synthesize diverse opinions. A case study was be presented. This was presented by Mary Lynn Boscardin (UMASS), John Provost (Northampton, MA), and Anne Louise Thompson (NCSI).
