The session highlighted the Georgia DOE’s work to elevate equity in its systems of accountability and support and the alignment of its SEA structures to move this work to the local school districts. The session also highlighted technical assistance, support, and resources available from the National Center for Systemic Improvement and the Council of Chief State School Officers, to support states as they implement ESSA and advance college and career ready outcomes for all students.
