Presentation for the 2016 Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) and National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) Conference. To improve outcomes for students with disabilities, the Office of Special Education Programs adopted Results-Driven Accountability (RDA). This presentation, featuring directors at the Rhode Island Department of Education and a local district, as well as personnel from national technical assistance centers (NCII, NCSI, CEEDAR), shares lessons learned from a unique state-local partnership, including implications for states and districts who are collaborating to improve outcomes under RDA. Presented by Teri Marx (AIR/NCII, CEEDAR), David Sienko (RIDE), Leslie Anderson (Bristol Warren Regional Schools, WI), and Louis Danielson (AIR/NCII, NCSI, CEEDAR).
