This presentation, delivered by Sharon Vaughn of the University of Texas at Austin and Sarah Arden and Jill Pentimonti from the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCS) reviewed available tools to support state, district, school, and community stakeholders in implementing evidence-based practices and intensive intervention for students with reading disabilities. Tools introduced included reading intervention adaptation and intensification strategies, progress monitoring and measurement instruments, and a review of the Data-based individualization (DBI) process.
